Monthly parking in Fitzroy can cost over $300/month. As part of the City of Yarra, local businesses in Fitzroy can apply for business parking permits, but the costs do vary depending on the number of vehicles you apply for. These are renewed on a yearly basis and are a very affordable option if you meet the requirements. Both St Vincent’s Hospital and Melbourne Museum offer onsite parking. The Melbourne Museum Car Park is located under the museum with entry via Rathdowne St or Nicholson St. It’s open 7 days a week from 5:30am to midnight. It costs $43/day Monday to Friday, evening flat rate of $7/day if you enter after 4pm and a fixed weekend rate of $15. If you’re a member, you can get a significant parking discount of $10/day when you pre-book online or $12/day drive up. St Vincent’s Hospital has a number of car parks available for patients, visitors and staff. For visitors, the car park is open 7am – 9pm Monday to Friday and 9am-5pm on weekends. Maximum daily rate is $30 for weekdays, $14 on weekends.
